مشروع القطار السريع — اللي تنفذه شركة Siemens Mobility الألمانية بالشراكة مع مقاولين مصريين كبار — هيغيّر شبكة النقل في مصر تماماً. أول خط بيربط العين السخنة بمرسى مطروح مروراً بالعاصمة الإدارية والإسكندرية، وخطوط لاحقة بتربط الصعيد بالشمال.
Executed by Siemens Mobility in partnership with major Egyptian contractors, the High-Speed Rail project will fundamentally transform Egypt's transit network. The first line links Ain Sokhna to Marsa Matrouh via the New Administrative Capital and Alexandria, with subsequent lines connecting Upper Egypt to the north.
